I’m sorry to say that the job market still sucks (as if you didn’t know that already). That being said, there has been an upswing in part-time and temporary employment. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the temporary job sector has added 313,000 jobs since September. Many companies are now realizing that they let go of too many employees during the recession hysteria. As a result, they are adding temps to help keep their productivity up and get their businesses growing as the economy begins to recover.
